In the early stages of my career, I was invited to raise awareness and funds for Vice President Al Gore’s presidential campaign. That pivotal experience taught me more about using personal engagement and communication for the greater good.
I used those lessons to help DC students exceed performance standards, to increase the cost effectiveness of major institutions, and to develop fundraising strategies for various nonprofit organizations. Over the years, I have secured more than $150 million for a diverse range of institutions in the fields of arts, education, social justice and advocacy. The leadership skills I gathered while directing multimillion-dollar capital and endowment campaigns came full circle in my executive leadership roles and through my community affiliations. I am humbled to serve others by sharing those lessons at speaking engagements, institutions, and philanthropic and community events.
Through my work in strategic development and partnerships that I have developed over the past two decades, I have been fortunate to help advance the education, development, and social justice issues that represent my core passions. It is a pleasure to share that inspiration and help others.
